ICONS OF ACTIVISM

Harlem Public Arts Project presents "Icons of Activism," a summer 2023 art exhibit featuring portraits of civil rights activists Angela Davis and Rosa Parks.

  • Featured Artists: Gina Samson and Taylor Capers-Armstead 
  • Curator: Pierre Voltaire

These 2 larger-than-life paintings will be on display in The Forum's east Atrium July through September 30, 2023. 

Join us for an opening reception and unveiling on Monday, July 31 at 5:30 PM, followed by a live jazz performance from The Henry Paul Trio, as part of The Forum's Music Monday series. Light refreshments will be served. RSVP encouraged.
