SusanSK Jewelry is a one-woman artisanal jewelry business based in Central Harlem. Susan believes people want jewelry that is affordable yet durable (can be worn swimming or while showering), is fun and easy to wear, layer, and mix ‘n match, and brings joy to the person wearing it.
She handcrafts her unique, colorful jewelry one piece at a time, using time-honored techniques such as hand forging and fusing precious metals into rings, chains, and earrings, and hand knotting silk, gemstone, and pearl necklaces.
Originally from New Zealand, Susan and her Moroccan husband, Ali, have lived and worked in New York for the past 30 years, the last 12 in Harlem.
